My Promotional Media

Even though I have already handed this module in at University I have decided to show some of the elements I included in it on here.
The images you see here consist of my business cards, my bag design and some handmade cards, which are only a few of the things I included in my portfolio for that module. I hope these will help me promote myself and get further in the world of illustration.

What I am handing in.........

For my Final Major Project I have few elements which I am handing in to be assessed, the first of which is a leather bound photo album which contains photo research taken at Witley Court and information I have found out about certain parts of the buildings. The next thing is my on site sketch book which I took with me on my visits to the ruin and contains the majority of my onsite sketches and drawings. The third thing is my development sketchbook which shows the mediums, experiments, onsite sketches and thoughts I went through to get to my final pieces. I am including two portfolios, one of which contains the A3 pastel drawing experiments I produced, the other contains my final A2 pieces.

Reflection

When looking back at all the work I have produced for my final major project I am pleased with the direction it has taken. When first starting I would not have dreamed my final pieces would look the way they do. I feel that branching out into a new nedia which I have not used before has proved very beneficial to both my creative practice and my final outcomes. I feel as though part of myself comes across in my fianl images, showing how I myself see Witley Court.
I do not feel I would change anything about the processes I went through to get to my final outcomes. The pen sketches, water colour drawings etc, had to be pursued to get to where I ended up in the project.
Overall I can safely say I am very happy with the outcome of my project and feel I have done Witley Court justice.
